Welcome to Ded Pxl – AI-powered design feedback, kinda.

I'm Matt Donovan, and I've been designing stuff for 20 years. In that time, I've given my fair share of bad design feedback—getting way too prescriptive, losing sight of the business case, forgetting who the user is. I've watched designers slow-blink at me, not sure what to make of my comments. But if you keep at this long enough, you pick up a few things worth passing along.

Ded Pxl is a fun attempt at that. It's not perfect, but it's a structured way to run your designs through a second set of eyes—ones that aren't tired, biased, or distracted by Slack notifications. It looks at your work through different lenses—a UX designer, a product manager, a UI critic—and sometimes it gives solid insights. Sometimes it's way off. Either way, it's a fast way to shake up your thinking and catch things you might've missed.

I built this on Replit to be quick and easy. No signups, no nonsense. Just upload your design, see what it says, and take what's useful.

Let me know what works, what doesn't, and what you wish it did better. This only gets smarter if people like you kick the tires.
